Lumen runs two complete processing engines in parallel, each with its own Shaper, Warper, Warmer and Circuitry stages. You can route them as frequency bands, Mid and Side, or Left and Right, which makes Lumen equally at home on channels, buses and masters.
-
Instead of a single drive knob, Lumen gives you a multi stage harmonic chain per engine. Shapers redraw the waveform, Warpers bend the dynamics and spectrum, Warmers provide analog inspired saturation and Circuitry adds final output color. This lets you sculpt exactly how the harmonics bloom and interact.

The global Exciter is designed to enhance presence and width in a way that feels natural to the ear. It reacts to the current split mode, working either in Mid Side or Left Right, and adds extra harmonic energy without turning the top end into harsh fizz. It is ideal for bringing a mix or a bus slightly forward in a dense arrangement.
-
Lumen includes a dedicated visualizer that shows the distortion component of the signal by itself. A pure sine wave is sent through the processing and the original sine is removed from the display, so what you see is the added harmonic content only. It is an immediate way to understand what each mode, control and preset is really doing.
-
All the non linear stages inside Lumen run through a dedicated oversampling engine. This reduces aliasing and keeps high frequency content more natural when you push drive, warping and excitation. You can choose lighter settings when you want to save CPU, or higher quality when printing or working on critical material.
